Reserve your spot now
Our deposit deadline for the fall semester is May 1. A $200 tuition deposit must be made to reserve your spot. Students who deposit by February 15 will receive early deposit benefits, such as first choice of your Falcon Day and being in the first round of housing assignments! You’ll also gain access to your student portal—your “home page” for accessing email, financial aid, the housing application, and more. As a committed student, you will be granted additional access in Falcon Feed (such as finding a roommate and joining your Crew) and be invited to our on-campus spring meet-ups!
It's never too early to start thinking about financial aid
Our financial aid application process begins October 1. Visit fafsa.gov with your PRIOR year taxes and our school code, 003842, to complete your FAFSA. Financial Aid packages are released to accepted students in December. If you’re accepted after December, your package will be released following the aforementioned steps.
Apply for housing and be in the first round of assignments!
Housing requests begin in January. After we receive your tuition deposit, you’ll be able to apply for housing. Log into your student portal, pay your $300 non-refundable housing deposit, and complete the application. In it, you’ll be able to select a meal plan and connect with roommates.
Falcon Days
Falcon Days are a required part of new student orientation. These days are designed for all new incoming falcons, whether you're a transfer student or incoming first-year student. The goal of Falcon Days is to provide all the tools you need to feel prepared for your life as a student. Learn about residential and commuter life, get your financial aid questions answered, and connect with resources that will aid your transition to CUW.
We welcome you
The final piece of the puzzle: New Student Orientation! Designed for all incoming students (residential and commuter, freshmen and transfer), this four-day experience is packed with social and academic events, which will get you excited and prepared for year one. Prepare yourself to create your first memories as a Falcon! The fun continues all week with the Week of Welcome activities hosted by the Campus Activities Board.
