Abundant worship at Concordia
The Chapel of Christ Triumphant is the setting for our active and vibrant worship life. Gathering together regularly around God’s Word is one of the hallmarks of our campus spiritual life.
Daily chapel
Monday through Friday during the academic year we meet from 9:30 - 9:50 am. No classes are held during this time which enables many of the campus community—faculty, staff, and students—to gather in worship together. Each day we hear God’s Word, pray, and sing as we follow a variety of short service orders. Click here to learn more about chapel and view the archived videos.

Sunday worship
Each Sunday during the academic year we gather for Divine Service at 10:00 am. These traditional services are rooted in the rich tradition of the Lutheran and Christian liturgies of the Church. We follow the historic lectionary series of Scripture readings which guide through the festivals and seasons of the Church Year. We celebrate Holy Communion about twice a month which is hosted by a local LCMS congregation.
Special services
All-campus celebration services like our Opening Service and Baccalaureate provide times for marking significant occasions each year. Special evening services also augment our worship life. Evening services are often student-led and include services of Evening Prayer, Vespers, and Compline and include special services for minor church festivals and Holy Week. Some extra services are also held in Rogate Chapel, a smaller space perfect for small services and groups.
