Concordia Wisconsin’s pre-medical pathway offers a seamless transition from a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences to a Doctor of Optometry (OD) through a partnership with Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). This pathway provides rigorous academic preparation, hands-on learning experiences, and personalized support within a faith-based environment. You will gain a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and health sciences, ensuring you are well-prepared for optometry school.

The partnership between Concordia University Wisconsin and Illinois College of Optometry provides a direct route for CUW undergraduate students to gain direct admission into the Doctor of Optometry program at ICO.
