Integrate faith, professional excellence and service in your residency program. At Concordia you can make a difference and develop into an advanced health care professional.
Our Orthopedic Residency Program is committed to developing physical therapists who demonstrate clinical expertise in orthopedic practice, a dedication to teaching, and a passion for service to the profession and community. Through our program you will experience a variety of patient care, mentoring, educational, research, observation and teaching opportunities.
Residents engage in flexible online didactic content, participate in weekly faculty-led lab sessions at CUW, and treat patients 36 hours per week at an affiliate clinic site, which includes weekly 1:1 designated mentoring time. Residents additionally engage in research with faculty, complete multidisciplinary provider observations, are involved in educational interactions with CUW Doctor of Physical Therapy students, and are provided opportunities to present to a variety of audiences.
We are currently accepting four Residents annually. This 12-month Residency Program begins early July and ends early July of the following year.

Upon completion of the residency program, residents will excel as orthopedic physical therapy practitioners, work collaboratively with other members of the health care team, and educate current and future health care providers regarding orthopedic related content.
