I have taught numerous classes for Concordia’s OLA program as well as business law. In addition, I helped design a new class for Concordia on entrepreneurial law.
I have a J.D. from Stanford, an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan-Flint, and a B.S. from Millikin University. I practiced commercial law in the San Francisco area for several years, concentrating on corporate and insurance law. About 10 years ago, we moved to Frankenmuth, Michigan. I have not been practicing law in Michigan, but have taught law and business classes at SVSU and Northwood. Last year, I published The Small Business Guide to Obamacare. In addition, my wife and I founded Tozy Tea LLC which is in its third full year.
I’m an avid outdoorsman, I love fishing and hiking. My wife Heidi and I are also highly involved with many of the cultural events here in Frankenmuth. Heidi is an alumna of Concordia Irvine and substitute teaches at several of the Lutheran schools in the area. We’re both members of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Frankentrost, one of the first congregations to join the LCMS.
