Adjunct and Online Instructor
I currently serve as an adjunct professor in the Masters of Educational Leadership and Curriculum & Instruction programs. I came to Concordia University with experience as a school administrator at the elementary, middle and high school levels, along with service as a high school special education teacher. Additionally, I have conducted professional development at the district level in many capacities such as: curriculum development, instructional strategies, grading practices, inclusive classrooms, and differentiated instruction. I hold a BA in education, board field social studies and special education; a MA in educational administration and curriculum and instruction; a PhD. in leadership, learning and service from Cardinal Stritch University. My research interests include instructional practices, curriculum design, building transformational relationships to enhance learning and motivation for students and teachers, supervision and evaluation procedures to build the capacity of teachers and enhance their intrinsic motivation to seek continued professional development. My family and I live in Plymouth, WI. Our time is spent at many school activities such as music and theater performances, band concerts and swim meets. My husband and I enjoy hiking, biking, beaches and spending as much time as possible together as a family.
